THE SPREADSHEET (Excel .xlsx, works in Google Sheets)
- Budget: type your total and the categories fill in with a sample split you can change. Actual spending fills in automatically from your spending log, with money left and a "% used" bar per category.
- Gifts: one row per gift with budget, spent, and Bought / Wrapped drop-downs. Totals show how many are bought and wrapped.
- People: everyone you're buying for, with budget, planned, spent, money left and gifts still to buy, all calculated.
- Spending log: date, item, store, category and amount, for up to 150 purchases.
- Cards: up to 80 households with sent and received counts.
- Sample rows show how it works; delete them when you're ready. Calculated cells are shaded so you know where to type.
